Seribu Islands Transportation Sub-dept. (Sudinhub) has managed to evacuate sinking Makmur Timur fishing boat in Jakarta Bay area, Tuesday (8/7) morning. There is no injured victim in this incident.

Seribu Islands Sudinhub Head, Robert Edward stated, at that time his personnel did patrol along Jakarta Bay area then saw a sinking fishing boat with capacity of 80 gross tonnage (GT).

"While our team is on patrol, they see a fishing boat is sinking and try to safe and evacuate the passengers," he informed.

His personnel rescued 12 fishing boat crews and captain using two patrol boats. Patrol Boat 02 was used by rescuers while Patrol Boat 09 was used to evacuate the victims. Then those victims wer e taken to Muara Angke Port.

"We deploy 13 personnel and take that fishing boat to Muara Baru Port," he explained.
